Stinky Pete and Sniffer Dog:

Today we had a bizarre problem. Stinky Pete went missing. Help!

You will probably wonder who Stinky Pete is?  Stinky Pete is a character in one of Jarryn's favourite movies, Toy Story 2 (we skip all the scary parts for him). He talks endlessly about it. Most times he likes to pretend he is Buzz Lightyear or Woody. But when he is 'naughty' about not going to the toilet we all call him Stinky Pete and he thinks it is a big joke. Well, today we lost Stinky Pete soon after he became stinky. We started searching frantically for Stinky Pete. We could smell him but we could not find him! Panic! We called others in to help.

Then an idea came into my head, our dog Skatijie is a very good sniffer of unpleasant things. I brought her into the house to check if my theory was right. She took a while to get used to what I was telling her. But then she clicked and went straight away to Jarryn's favourite book corner, amongst the exercise balls. I should have know he would chose that spot to go to sleep in. Skatjie was very pleased with herself for finding Stinky Pete as she got a reward of lots of patting and a photograph - she must think she is a photography star! (Though she is really just a normal dog who usually behaves the same in that she always likes to find unpleasant smells.)

And that is the conclusion of our Stinky Pete and Sniffer Dog saga.

A Fantastical Chewy Camp 2010:

Can you guess why I call it a chewy camp? I have put the hints in lime.

I always look forward to going to camp. We have been going to this camp almost every year since we first came to Australia over 6 years ago. You can see a photograph of us all here http://www.bbcq.org/images/10/2010_family_conf.jpg  The sermons were great ( good spiritual food) . We also had Sunday School and played sport inside. Crab soccer was fun but difficult. I also had fun canoeing at camp, they had a dam. I got tipped out - not sure if it was on purpose or by accident, it is hard to know when you have a brother in the canoe with you. I always love to meet up with my good friend Margret at camp! The food was delicious too and is worth looking forward to. Us girls had great fun sitting together. We always tried to make sure our table was in the same place in case someone should 'steal' it.

Camp was near Montville and we went shopping there on the way to camp, on Friday. I like the photography shop best.

After camp we went to King's Beach and Shelly Beach, I like the beaches there, we had great fun collecting shells and running on the sand.We had a picnic at Shelly Beach before we headed home.

No wonder it is called Wet and Wild

Planning what to do first with friends exciting!

Unlike some children I am very lucky for my Mom and Dad work very hard to keep our lives happy as you have already heard at Christmas. Well we went to 'Wet n Wild'. Wow, and boy - it is wet and very wild! We went with my good friend Suzanna and her family because Suzanna's big sister Katy picked up some Wet n Wild tickets that only cost 15 dollars each. Because it's winter right now there were hardly any people there, so we just ran up the ladders and zoomed down the slides and did not have to wait in long ques.

Mom went on one slide and that was one slide too many and spent the rest of her time watching us and relaxing in the spars and the wave pool. I think she should have had gone on the Tornado but it was no use asking her she'd had enough slides for one day. I went on almost all the slides but I did not dare go on the surf rider although my brothers went on it. Jonathan tried it out four times! They all tried to persuade me to ride on it but I refused. I may only be ten years old but I can be quite stubborn when I have to be. Out of all the slides I probably liked the Black Hole or the Tornado best. I had great fun even though it it was very wild!
